But now you want to send an equally awesome piece to let your contacts know it’s off the market and you can’t find the listing?
What gives, rezora?!
In general, we are able to keep sold listings around for about 30 days after they are sold, provided that they are still being sent to us in your MLS's data. That being said, we have a couple workarounds to market sold listings. Phew!
- Create a Custom Copy of your listing before it is pulled from the data. To do this, head to your My Listings page, and then next to the about-to-be-sold listing, click 'Options' >> 'Create Custom Copy'. This will locally save this listing to your account as a Custom Listing to be used later. Since this listing is not tied to the MLS, it will stick around in your account even after the original listing is removed from the MLS. How do I make a Custom Copy?
Okay, that may have been more useful to know before you were in this predicament. Luckily, there’s another option.
- You can also create a Custom Listing from scratch. To create a custom listing, please go to the My Listings page. Click the custom tab, and then the blue button that says, "
Add New Custom Listing". Next, enter your property information and photos. This property will then be available for you to drag and drop into your marketing piece, on the "Add Property Listings" step. Please make sure that from the drop down menu in this step you change the selection from "residential" to "custom". How do I make a Custom Listing?
** Remember when entering information to EXCLUDE use of any special characters such as dollar signs ($) or commas (,). rezora will automatically format these for you!
Now that you’ve got that down, get back to selling more of your listings without fear that contacts will inquire about that gem you just sold!
