How to export an Outlook CSV file from ACT!

  • Open the ACT! database that contains the contacts you want to export. If you do not want to export the entire database, perform a lookup of the contacts that you want to export.
  • From the File menu, select Data Exchange > Export. The Export Wizard opens.
  • From the File Type menu, select Text - Delimited.
  • Next to the File Name and Location field, click Browse.
  • Type a file name. From the Save as Type drop down menu, select Text - Delimited (*.csv).
  • Click Next.
  • Click Contact Records Only, and then click the Options button. The Export Options window opens.
  • In the Field Separator box, select Comma.
  • In the Do You Want to Export Field Names? box, check Yes.
  • Click Next.
  • Select the contacts that you want to export.
  • Make sure the Export with Email Addresses option is selected.
  • Click Finish.
