Guide to Listing Automation Templates

Introduction to Listing Automation

Listing Automation is a feature in rezora that generates a suite of on-brand marketing materials that the agent can immediately distribute across several channels.  This feature is often used in conjunction with Listing Automation, which will automatically alert agents when they have a significant marketable event for their listing, and provides them with a quick link to generate the appropriate Listing Automation for it.

Setting up Listing Automation templates for your team requires a set of special templates.  These templates would be assigned to Listing Automation events for your team, and would be the basis for content created using that Listing Automation .  For example, you can design a set of templates for Open House events, and assign them to the Open House Listing Automation for your company.

How to start

Listing Automation is included already for all rezora users and systems -- you just need to create/select the templates to be used for them.  There are four listing events, and three types of content that can be associated with them:

  1. New Listing: Email, PDF, Retargeting Display Ads
  2. Open House: Email, PDF, Retargeting Display Ads
  3. Price Reduction: Email, PDF, Retargeting Display Ads
  4. Sold: Email, PDF, Retargeting Display Ads

Each of the above Listing Automation types has an email, PDF, and retargeting display ad component.  In addition, there is a standalone Listing Automation event just for creating a new retargeting campaign and display ad templates:

         5. Retargeting Campaign: Display Ads

Template Requirements

Setting up Listing Automation for your system requires a minimum of 13 templates:
4 email templates, 4 PDF templates, and 5 display ad templates.

Email template requirements:

Four templates needed: New Listing, Open House, Price Reduction, Sold

Each template must have these features:

  • Exactly one email listing block
  • Default Subject Line
  • Company-level template (not a template shared by the brand)
  • The template must be un-restricted, active, and not part of any campaign
  • No other *required* editable features

End goal: each template is ready to send once a listing is dropped in, with no further editing required.

PDF template requirements:

Four templates needed: New Listing, Open House, Price Reduction, Sold

Each template must have these features:

  • Exactly one PDF listing block
  • Company-level template (not a template shared by the brand)
  • The template must be un-restricted, active, and not part of any campaign
  • No other *required* editable features

End goal: each template is ready to generate the PDF after the listing has been added, with no further required editing.

Display Ad template requirements:

Five templates needed: Skyscraper, Rectangle, Leaderboard, Mobile Banner, Mobile Interstitial

Each template must have these features:

  • Exactly one display ad listing block
  • Listing block should have a good background image position set
  • Company-level template (not a template shared by the brand)
  • Template must be un-restricted, active, and not part of any campaign
  • No other *required* editable features

End goal: each template is ready to publish the ad with no image adjustments or editing required.  These five templates cover all five available sizes of display ads, and can be set as the templates for the standalone "Retargeting" Listing Automation , as well as the display ads used for the other four Listing Automation events.

Once done, your agents will be able to use those templates for their Listing Automations going forward!

What happens now?

This means: when one of your agents has a new listing, the moment that the data is received by rezora, the agent will receive an email to notify them, and provide a link to create a "New Listing Listing Automation" using the templates you've designated for it.  The agent will be able to choose what kind of content they want to create, but they won't have to create or edit anything beyond this -- each marketing piece will have the listing added automatically, and be ready to send with no required editing.

Ultimately, each time your agents have a listing event, they will be able to promote it as soon as possible, and distribute a series of on-brand content across multiple channels -- all within minutes.
