Q: If I change the template for an automation event, will that change affect everyone?
A: Yes. There can only be one template set for an automation event at any given time. Replacing it will affect future triggered automation events.
Q: Can an agent select a different template for an automation event?
A: No. The automation events can only have a single set template to them, however, agents can make changes to content before a send if their settings and the template allow. If the agent sets the Automation Event to "Email: Approval Required" the piece will automatically be created, but the agent will have the chance to edit the email before sending.
